They all participated in a "pit road challenge" while we were at Daytona, teaming up to change a tire in 20 seconds. The tour of the track was shorter than the one Don & I took last year, but the boys enjoyed it and we were once again lucky enough to have cars on the track racing that they got to see.
Of course the pinnacle of the trip was Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World. The day was everything I could have wanted to my kids first trip to Disney. We arrived in time to be sung into the park by the opening crew, rode every ride we were tall enough for, scrambled all over Tom Sawyer Island, watched the lighted parade & the fireworks, and collapsed into happy sleep 11 hours later.

We're Back!
A fantastic time was had by all in Florida. And also in New Mexico, Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, Missouri & Kansas. We put just over 4600 miles on my Jeep in 5 days on the road (3 out & 2 back). The boys have seen more states in their 5 & 10 years than I saw before I was 19.
We visited the beaches at Cocoa & Daytona. My non-swimming boys surprised me. Both were more than ready to tackle the ocean and the swimming pool. They might be growing out of their fear and ready for lessons that won't involve screaming on their part and embarrassment on mine.
